FOURTH GRADE TEACHER

(2026-27 SCHOOL YEAR) Nativity School, a Catholic elementary school, (PreSchool

• Grade 8) located in Menlo Park, California, seeks an educator for a self-contained four grade classroom.

Nativity Catholic School is committed to the teachings, values, and beliefs of the Catholic Church, while engaging and nurturing each student within a diverse learning community. Key qualities of a Nativity School teacher include a positive attitude, deep interest in learning new skills related to teaching, and a desire to collaborate with others.

Qualifications:

Four-year undergraduate degree.

A valid California Teaching credential (or a reciprocal credential from another state). If the candidate does not yet possess a valid California teaching credential, (s)he must acquire one within five years of the date of hire.

Willingness to work collaboratively with a full-time 4nd grade aide.

Proven oral and written communication skills with parents, faculty and students.

Experience in and ability to plan, implement and follow an innovative curriculum.

Skillful at appropriately integrating technology into lessons.

Possess an understanding of and experience with a differentiated classroom.

Must be a practicing Catholic and able to support and promote the Catholic identity of the school.

School-wide Responsibilities:

Attend weekly staff meetings.

Plan, organize and lead field trips.

Perform duties such as yard and lunchtime supervision.

Attend all school Masses, faculty retreats and prayer services.

Participate in professional development workshops.

Qualifications Salary:

$54,500
