An Elementary School Teacher teaches elementary school students, usually children ages 5 - 11 who are in kindergarten through fifth or sixth grade, in a public or private school. Teaches all subjects, including reading, writing, math, social studies and science, to one class throughout the school year. Plans curriculum and assesses student progress, manages student behavior and communicates with school parents. May specialize in teaching music, art or physical education, or teach students that are learning English, or work with students with learning disabilities or emotional and behavioral disorders.

Job Description

We are seeking a fully qualified teacher to lead our highly regarded Montessori toddler program, serving children 18-30 months old. The successful candidate will show love and respect for young children, have a passion for creating engaging curriculum, and be comfortable communicating with parents and well as children.

The candidate must have:

12 units of ECE, including child development and child, family, community. 3 units of infant toddler. At least 1 year of experience in a licensed childcare center. Montessori training or an interest getting Montessori teacher training. Criminal background clearance This opportunity is Monday through Friday. 8:30-5:30 We offer a variety of benefits for full and part time employees, including paid time off and financial support for Montessori training.
