The Elementary Teacher will support the school's goals of fostering a student-centered approach to teaching and learning, balancing the innovation of a problem-based learning framework with a rigorous academic foundation grounded in Core Knowledge principles. The ideal candidate will possess a strong record of achievement in establishing and maintaining a classroom with high academic and behavioral standards; a strong interest in and commitment to the use of data to drive instruction and raise student achievement; and a record of strong communication with students, parents and community members, fellow staff in the faculty community, and school Administration. QUALIFICATIONS BA

from a regionally accredited college or university (MA preferred) Colorado Teaching License with Elementary Endorsement (or equivalent) PBL Experience Preferred Strong Instructional Skills and Classroom Management Commitment to Lifelong Learning and Professional Improvement Demonstrated Collaboration with Peers in Team Environment Superior Communication and Organizational Skills Exceptional Work Ethic Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
