Open Until Filled Elementary Teacher (Intermediate) Full Time Position Salary Schedule Position Description Flagstaff Academy seeks an Elementary School Teacher for the 2026-27 school year. The position requires close collaboration with the elementary school team to ensure that there is a meaningful scope and sequence for the elementary school Core Knowledge curriculum. Qualifications Sought We seek a talented educator who can inspire students and teachers while being inspired by our mission

The successful candidate is expected to deliver dynamic educational experiences with high educational expectations and accountability. Specifically, we seek an educator with: subject matter expertise and a strong foundation in literacy and math instruction good communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills the ability to work collaboratively a willingness to work closely with families ability to form positive relationships with children three years of successful experience as a teacher effective instructional delivery techniques expertise integrating technology effectively proven ability to differentiate instruction and meet the needs of all students The candidate's pedagogy should be student-centered and practiced in differentiated instruction with a particular focus on the teaching through investigation and inquiry.

Since its founding in 2005, Flagstaff Academy has grown into Longmont's premier science and technology school. Employees contribute 11% of monthly earnings while Flagstaff Academy contributes 21.4% to the PERA pension trust fund on the employee's behalf Life/AD&D insurance
  • Flagstaff Academy provides a Life/AD&D insurance policy with a $40,000 benefit for each eligible employee Short Term Disability
