Job Description

Saint John School in Old Saybrook, Connecticut is seeking a dedicated and faith-filled Middle School Teacher to join our Catholic school community. The successful candidate will foster academic excellence, support students' spiritual and character development, and create a positive, engaging classroom environment. We are looking for an educator who is collaborative, organized, and committed to helping students grow intellectually, socially, and spiritually while partnering with families to support student success.

Responsibilities include:

Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based instruction. Create a positive, structured classroom environment that promotes respect and responsibility. Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs. Assess student progress and communicate regularly with parents. Collaborate with faculty and administration to support school initiatives. Integrate Catholic values and Virtues in Practice into daily instruction and classroom culture. Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events.

Pay:

$34,000.00 - $38,000.00 per year
