Position:
We are currently seeking a Spanish Teacher .The ideal Spanish Teacher candidate will bring a passion for the mission of Excellence Community School, an understanding and respect for various cultures, and a passion for working in an urban school setting that fosters a love for children.
Responsibilities:
Implement curricula and activities to meet academic standards. Design and implement assessments that measure progress towards academic standards. Use assessment data to refine curriculum and inform instructional practices. Participate in collaborative curriculum development, grade-level activities, and school-wide functions. Provide consistent rewards and/or consequences for student behavior. Be accountable for students' mastery of academic standards. Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements A bachelor's degree is required At least 1 year of Spanish Teacher experience is required. Connecticut State Certification in Spanish required. Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
Compensation & Benefits Salary Range:
($53,235
Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
