AS4A offers a unique learning environment that combines strong academics with a vibrant performing arts program. With small class sizes (up to 10 students per class) and flexible scheduling, our educators have the ability to create personalized, meaningful learning experiences for every student. You will be reporting directly to the principal who is open to helping train the right individual. This role is ideal for an educator who values creativity, collaboration, and student-centered teaching.

Responsibilities include:

Designing and implementing engaging lesson plans aligned with AS4A's academic and arts-integrated curriculum Creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes intellectual, social, and artistic growth Utilizing creative instructional strategies to encourage curiosity, problem-solving, and critical thinking Monitoring student progress through varied assessment methods and providing individualized support Communicating effectively with parents, colleagues, and school leadership Participating in school-wide events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Master's preferred) Teaching certification is not required but classroom experience is strongly preferred Experience in elementary education, ideally in private or arts-integrated settings Strong classroom management skills and a passion for arts-infused teaching Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team-oriented environment
