Principal Position Summary:
Potential Christian Academy is seeking a dedicated and faith-driven Elementary Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about educating young learners academically, spiritually, and socially within a Christ-centered environment. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, fostering a positive classroom culture, and integrating biblical principles into daily instruction. Key Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with curriculum standards and the school's Christian values Create a safe, nurturing, and structured classroom environment conducive to learning Integrate biblical teachings and Christian worldview into all subject areas Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and behavior Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and administration Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students Encourage spiritual growth through prayer, scripture, and Christ-centered discussions Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities Uphold and model Christian character, ethics, and professionalism at all times Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field (required) Valid teaching certification (preferred, depending on state requirements) Experience teaching at the elementary level (preferred) Strong classroom management and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities A personal commitment to the Christian faith and alignment with the school's mission Key Skills & Competencies Ability to integrate faith and learning effectively Strong instructional and lesson planning skills Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children Adaptability and creativity in teaching methods Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative spirit
