Elementary School Teacher

07/29/2026 St. Patrick Catholic School in Miami Beach, Florida, is seeking to hire a qualified Elementary School (K-5) Teacher for the 2026-27 year. This candidate will be expected to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program for grades K-5. The Elementary School teacher performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary is commensurate with certifications and years of experience.
Qualifications:
BS / BA Degree in Education or Elementary Education required. Florida Department of Education Elementary K-5 teaching certificate in temporary or professional required. Must obtain catechetical certification from the Archdiocese Office of Catechesis within three years of hire. Excellent classroom management skills. Demonstrate flexibility in assessing student needs and create related strategies to adapt appropriately within the classroom setting. Excellent presentation skills with use of instructional technologies. Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel; PowerPoint a plus. Collaborative approach to professional learning communities to improve and implement effective curriculum for high student achievement. Excellent oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice. Good spelling and grammar are required. Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred. Must have knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church. Must have a professional demeanor, including adherence to dress code.
