Duties Design and implement dynamic lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards across subjects such as literacy, math, science, and social studies. Utilize learning technology tools to enhance student engagement and facilitate interactive lessons. Manage classroom behavior effectively through proactive behavior management strategies, fostering a respectful and inclusive environment. Provide individualized support and tutoring to students with diverse needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention services. Incorporate physical education activities and promote healthy habits to support overall student well-being. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to develop tailored educational plans for students with autism or other special needs. Assess student progress through standardized testing, formative assessments, and portfolio reviews; adapt instruction accordingly. Engage in curriculum development initiatives to continuously improve teaching practices and learning outcomes. Mentor new teachers and assist in education administration tasks to uphold school standards of excellence. Support library services by integrating literacy education resources into daily lessons and encouraging reading habits among students. Experience Proven classroom experience working with elementary-aged children in diverse educational settings. Strong background in early childhood education principles and childhood development theories. Experience developing and proofreading educational materials, lesson plans, and assessments with attention to detail. Familiarity with teaching physical education, literacy education, math instruction, and working with individuals with autism or special needs. Demonstrated ability to manage classrooms effectively while fostering a positive learning environment. Knowledge of standardized testing procedures and data analysis to inform instruction. Prior private school experience or Montessori training is a plus but not required. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with students, parents, staff, and external specialists.
