Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Kindergarten and VPk (Pre-Kindergarten) Teacher to inspire young learners and foster their early childhood development. In this vital role, you will create engaging, developmentally appropriate curricula that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. Your expertise will support children's transition into formal education, ensuring they develop essential skills in literacy, numeracy, and social interaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the foundational years of children's educational journey in a nurturing and dynamic Montessori environment. Duties Design and implement innovative curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards, incorporating Montessori, preschool, and kindergarten methodologies. Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) to organize lesson materials, track student progress, and communicate with parents and colleagues effectively. Develop assessments to monitor student performance, analyze data for progress evaluation, and tailor instructional strategies accordingly. Manage classroom environments to promote positive behavior management and conflict resolution among young children. Conduct regular student assessment-driven instruction and modify lesson plans based on quantitative analysis of student data to maximize learning outcomes. Support early childhood development by fostering social-emotional skills, promoting childcare best practices, and providing academic advising to parents when needed. Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development trends, instructional design, and educational compliance regulations. Requirements Proven classroom experience teaching preschool or elementary school children with a strong emphasis on early childhood education principles. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, assessment-driven instruction, and classroom management techniques. Knowledge of learning technology tools such as LMS platforms and educational software to enhance instruction. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues, parents, and students' families. Background in literacy education, math instruction for young children, physical education teaching experience, and library services is preferred. Ability to analyze student performance data using quantitative methods to inform instructional decisions. Familiarity with educational compliance standards and regulations governing early childhood programs. Experience working in private school settings or Montessori environments is a plus. Certification or licensure in early childhood education or equivalent is required; additional training in special education or behavior management is advantageous.
