Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a vibrant educational environment. As an Elementary Teacher, you will play a vital role in fostering a love of learning, supporting student development across multiple domains, and creating an engaging classroom atmosphere. Your expertise will help students build foundational skills in literacy, mathematics, and social-emotional learning setting them up for lifelong success. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's educational journeys while collaborating with a dynamic team of educators. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards that promote active learning and critical thinking. Deliver engaging lessons in literacy education, math, science, social studies, and arts to diverse student populations. Incorporate learning technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance student engagement and understanding. Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive behavior management strategies and classroom management techniques. Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing and informal assessments. Provide individualized support and tutoring to students who need extra help, including those with special education needs or on the autism spectrum. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, early childhood education initiatives, and special intervention programs. Maintain clear communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and upcoming activities. Support early intervention efforts by identifying developmental delays or learning challenges early on and coordinating appropriate resources.
