Full-Time Job Summary:
As an Elementary and Middle School Teacher at North Dade Regional Academy, I am responsible for creating a nurturing and academically engaging learning environment that supports the growth and development of students across various grade levels. I design and implement lesson plans aligned with academic standards, promote positive behavior, and adapt instruction to meet diverse student needs—ensuring every child is supported academically, emotionally, and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
Instruction & Curriculum Delivery Plan and deliver grade-level appropriate lessons across core subjects (ELA, Math, Science, Social Studies) Differentiate instruction to support varied learning styles and academic levels Integrate hands-on activities, technology, and real-world applications to enhance student engagement Classroom Management & Student Development Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment Implement positive behavior supports and classroom routines that promote student responsibility Monitor student progress and communicate regularly with parents and administration Academic Support & Assessment Assess student learning through formative and summative evaluations Provide individualized support and small-group instruction when necessary Use data to adjust instructional strategies and provide targeted interventions School Culture & Collaboration Participate in school-wide events, parent meetings, and professional development sessions Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to promote student success Support extracurricular activities, student celebrations, and enrichment programs
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Valid Florida teaching certification or eligibility for certification Strong classroom management and instructional skills Passion for working with children and shaping young minds Ability to build meaningful relationships with students, families, and team members
Job Types:
Full-time, Contract Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
