The Learning Nest Edgewater is hiring a Montessori Toddler Teacher / Lead Guide for the start of the academic year on August 3rd. We're a family-owned Montessori school that's been running since 2013 — not a corporate chain, not a school that uses Montessori as a marketing word. The method is how we actually operate, and we're looking for someone who takes that as seriously as we do.

We follow AMI and AMS standards — not as a talking point, but as the actual framework for how our classrooms run. If you've worked in an environment that calls itself Montessori but doesn't truly practice it, you'll feel the difference here immediately. Our team is tight-knit and people genuinely like each other. When you join, you won't be handed a key and left to figure it out — our director is hands-on and present during your transition into the classroom. Family-owned means decisions are made by people who care about the school, not a corporate office.

• WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• AMS or AMI Montessori certification at the Infant/Toddler level — or currently in training with an expected completion by August 3rd
• A genuine affinity for the toddler years — the age that others find overwhelming, you find fascinating
• CPR certified, or willing to certify before your start date
• Warm, consistent, and clear with both children and families
• YOUR DAY-TO-DAY
• Lead a fully prepared Montessori toddler environment (ages 18 months
• 3 years)
• Plan and present practical life, language, and Montessori material lessons with fidelity to the method
• Maintain the order, beauty, and intentionality of the classroom environment
• Communicate with families through Transparent Classroom, newsletters, and parent-teacher conferences
• Participate in school events and parent nights as part of our community
• COMPENSATION $3,200
• $3,500 per month, full-time, based on experience and credentials.
