Orlando, Florida Position:
Full-Time Kindergarten Teacher Millennia Learning Academy is seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic, and experienced Kindergarten Teacher to join our private school community. We are looking for a teacher who can create an engaging classroom atmosphere that supports academic growth, creativity, independence, and a love of learning. Key Qualifications We are looking for a teacher who: Has experience teaching kindergarten or early elementary students Is dynamic, engaging, and confident in the classroom Can create a project-based, hands-on learning environment Has experience with differentiated instruction and meeting the needs of individual learners Has experience with IXL or is willing to learn and incorporate it into the curriculum Is experienced in parent-teacher communication and building positive relationships with families Has experience preparing report cards and student progress reports Can assess and communicate student academic and developmental progress Has strong classroom management and organizational skills Can build a strong sense of classroom community among students, parents, and the school Works well as part of a collaborative school team Responsibilities Create and maintain a positive, engaging, and well-organized kindergarten classroom Plan and implement project-based, hands-on learning experiences Incorporate IXL and other curriculum resources to support student learning and individualized progress Monitor and assess student progress throughout the school year Prepare report cards and progress reports Communicate regularly and professionally with parents and conduct parent-teacher conferences Build strong relationships with students and families Collaborate with fellow teachers and school leadership to contribute to a positive school community Qualifications Previous teaching experience required; kindergarten or early elementary experience preferred Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field preferred Teaching certification preferred but not required for the right candidate Experience with project-based learning and IXL is a plus Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills A genuine passion for working with young children and helping them grow academically and socially We are looking for a teacher who brings energy, creativity, professionalism, and a passion for creating a meaningful learning experience for young students.
Pay:
$16.00 - $19.00 per hour
