An Elementary School Teacher teaches elementary school students, usually children ages 5 - 11 who are in kindergarten through fifth or sixth grade, in a public or private school. Teaches all subjects, including reading, writing, math, social studies and science, to one class throughout the school year. Plans curriculum and assesses student progress, manages student behavior and communicates with school parents. May specialize in teaching music, art or physical education, or teach students that are learning English, or work with students with learning disabilities or emotional and behavioral disorders.

At Trinity Simone Christian academy , we strive to challenge our students with the highest standards of academics coupled with the instilling of basic Biblical moral teachings. We are in search of like-minded educators to join our team in helping to grow our students. We are looking for full-time and part-time teachers to be paid hourly. Pay rate depends on qualifications and job type. This includes paid holiday vacation time.
Requirements and responsibilities listed below:
REQUIREMENTS
Must have an Associate's Degree. Previous teaching experience. Be a practicing Christian with good moral character to align with our school's values. Willing to attend our annual curriculum training seminars. Successful results of Level 2 background checks and fingerprinting. Strong time management and communication skills. Must be able to teach all subjects
RESPONSIBILITIES
Set appropriate goals for students and assign individual work. Be available to help students one-on-one with questions if needed. Have a basic knowledge of all academic subjects. Monitor and supervise students while they work to ensure a calm, quiet, environment with harmony in the classroom. Manage students effectively to deter any conflicts and enforce the requirements of good student behavior. Create lesson plans/activities for extra work if needed outside of curriculum. Maintain accurate and complete student records. Promote a positive atmosphere for learning. Encourage Christian character in students. Ensure classroom is cleaned and sanitized daily.
