We are an an all-inclusive private school in Tampa, Florida where learning is inspired by our students! Our school includes personalized sensory enriched lessons for students from ages 5 to 22. We use research based curriculums that include ABA, Speech, OT, and PT, with certified teachers all working together. Each teacher has their own paraprofessional to support and a team of BCBAs and RBTs. We are looking for a successful Special Education Teacher with a strength in teamwork, strong classroom management skills, creative lesson planning skills, an ability to motivate students, and prior experience working with ESE students. This is a great opportunity for an aspiring Special Education Teacher to create a foundation for a long and successful teaching career.
Responsibilities:
Strong ability to differentiate classroom instruction. Establish a classroom safe environment. Maintain a positive learning environment. Manage class time. Teach students learning techniques. Teach students basic subjects. Manage behavior problems. Teach students learning techniques. Work with parents and faculty in planning events and activities. Attend faculty meetings. Set goals with students and parents. Be part of a team of therapists and teachers who are all here for the same goal of building each child to their true potential.
