Salary Palm Beach Day Academy, established in 1921, is an independent coeducational school, serving almost 600 students from age 2 to Grade 8 on two campuses. The Lower School, in West Palm Beach, serves ages 2 yrs. through 3rd Grade. The Upper School, located on the island of Palm Beach, serves 4th through 8th Grades. The Upper School is currently seeking a 3rd Grade Teacher for the 2026-27 School Year. Applicants should enjoy working in a collaborative, student-centered environment and be skilled in providing differentiated instruction to promote student academic, social, and emotional growth. In addition, a successful candidate will: Be motivated and enthusiastic, organized, and attentive to detail Possess excellent classroom management skills Be comfortable collaborating across departmental disciplines Advise students and communicates with families, including writing reports and leading conferences Possess in-depth knowledge of child development and progressive education Provide examples of innovative pedagogy to promote inquiry and learning in adolescents and evidence of capable writing Command a range of teaching methods to meet different learning needs Integrate technology into classroom teaching Be a self-starter, take initiative, have a sense of humor, and demonstrate strong listening and communication skills Be willing to contribute to school community in meaningful ways Be prepared to perform other duties as assigned https://info.flclearinghouse.com
