This position utilizes Abeka as the primary and sole curriculum, providing structured, phonics-based instruction within a teacher-directed classroom model. Class size is maintained at approximately a 15:1 student-to-teacher ratio to ensure individualized attention and strong foundational development. Primary Focus Areas Phonics-based reading instruction Early math foundations Handwriting and fine motor development Classroom structure and routine Social, emotional, and character growth Responsibilities Deliver structured Abeka lessons daily Maintain an engaging, high-energy classroom environment Monitor student progress and communicate with parents Establish clear expectations and consistent routines Foster a safe, nurturing, and academically focused setting Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education preferred Experience teaching Kindergarten strongly preferred Energetic, organized, and strong classroom management skills Passion for early literacy and foundational learning
