Role:
Blooming Buds LLC is looking for a passionate and dedicated Montessori Toddler Lead Teacher to join our growing team in Milton, GA! This is an exciting opportunity to inspire young minds during their most formative years using the proven Montessori method. If you love nurturing independence and curiosity in toddlers, we'd love to meet you!
Responsibilities:
Plan and implement authentic Montessori curriculum and activities tailored to toddler development Prepare and maintain an organized, child-centered Montessori classroom environment Observe and document individual child progress and developmental milestones Build warm, trusting relationships with toddlers to support social-emotional growth Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding child development and classroom activities Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and classroom aides Ensure classroom safety, cleanliness, and compliance with licensing standards
Requirements:
Montessori certification (AMI or AMS) preferred, especially in the Early Childhood or Toddler level Previous experience as a lead teacher in a Montessori or early childhood setting Strong understanding of toddler development (ages 18 months - 3 years) Excellent classroom management and communication skills Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Ability to pass a background check as required by Georgia childcare licensing Patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic demeanor with a genuine love for working with toddlers
