This position leads a 4-year-old classroom in all aspects of care and teaching. Conmigo Early Education Center is a bilingual, non-profit that provides care and education for 140 children between the ages of six weeks through twelve-years-old. The assistant universal pre-kindergarten (UPK) teacher is responsible for assisting the implementation of the FrogStreet curriculum, assessing children's development using GOLD, and providing a safe, healthy and developmentally appropriate environment. The UPK teacher works cooperatively with the lead Teacher. This classroom is a UPK community partner site with the Des Moines Public Schools. We follow all
DMPS UPK
classroom procedures and protocols. The full-time work hours for this position will be Monday- Friday from 8:00-5:00 Will consider part time hours for this position also.

  • AA in Early Childhood Education; OR
  • CDA Child Development Credential ; OR
  • Paraeducator Certificate Must be
  • Bilingual (English\Spanish) What we offer:
