Aug 17, 2026 Job Description Northeast Elementary is in search of a 4th grade teacher for the 2026-2027 School Year. Teachers at Northeast are responsible for following the Iowa Common Core Standards to create a learning environment that supports every child's academic, social, & behavioral needs.

Northeast Elementary Vision:

An ideal candidate must: Develop lesson plans and instructional materials aligned to Iowa Common Core Standards that engage students in a variety of learning experiences. Promote a classroom environment that is safe and conducive to individualized and small group instruction, and student learning. (Experience with PBIS preferred) Collaborate with families, colleagues, & other service providers to enhance student outcomes. Use a multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS) to meet the needs of individual students. Have the ability to conduct ongoing assessment of student learning in order to differentiate instruction within small and whole group instruction.
