This position focuses on providing targeted instruction, collaborating with staff, and using data to ensure students make meaningful progress toward grade-level standards.

The Title I Teacher plans and delivers small-group instruction for struggling learners, using research-based strategies to meet students' individual needs. The position requires ongoing data tracking and progress monitoring, including regularly updating and sharing student progress with classroom teachers and school staff to inform instructional decisions.

This role also includes planning and organizing Title Family Nights and leading the school's Events Team, helping create meaningful opportunities for families to engage in student learning. The Title I Teacher plans and coordinates instructional groups for paraprofessionals, ensuring support staff have clear guidance and effective instructional materials.

In addition, the Title I Teacher collaborates with staff on testing coordination, helps facilitate grade-level RTI meetings, and works with teachers to identify and support students who need additional interventions. The position is responsible for managing Milepost educational plans, including ILIPs, progress monitoring, and changelines for qualifying students.

As a key member of the school team, the Title I Teacher participates as a member of the PTO, attends all grade-level PLC meetings, and serves on the school Leadership Team. The position also includes supervisory duties and other responsibilities as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To establish specific objectives and lesson plans for directing and evaluating student learning.

To provide pupil guidance, which will promote good citizenship, and encourage life long learning.

To maintain liaison with the parentsTo provide for the care and protection of studentsTo provide for the care of materials, equipment and facilities.

To participate in the planning, evaluation, and upgrading of the school program.

To be responsible for student attendance and permanent records.

To maintain cordial and cooperative working relationships with colleagues.

To report pupil progress to the administration and parents in such from as the administration may direct.

To continually demonstrate mastery of the subject area taught, and mastery of generally acceptable instruction techniques.

To be responsible for co-curricular and other duties beyond the regular classroom activities as may be determined by the building principal.

To be a role model and example this promotes good habits and behavior from the students.

To provide an atmosphere of dignity, mutual respect, industry, and self-initiative.

To give instruction in safety pertaining to the buildings and equipment with which the student may come in contact.

Knows and follows school policy and the chain of command.

Acts ethically and confidentially in all aspects of employment.

Performs such school-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications Profile Certification/License:
Idaho State Certification as an
Elementary Teacher Education:
Bachelors from an accredited college or university in Elementary Education.

Masters Degree in related area preferred, but not required.
Experience:
Successful prior teaching experience at K-5 levels a plus.
