An Elementary School Teacher teaches elementary school students, usually children ages 5 - 11 who are in kindergarten through fifth or sixth grade, in a public or private school. Teaches all subjects, including reading, writing, math, social studies and science, to one class throughout the school year. Plans curriculum and assesses student progress, manages student behavior and communicates with school parents. May specialize in teaching music, art or physical education, or teach students that are learning English, or work with students with learning disabilities or emotional and behavioral disorders.

Job Description

Doral Academy is seeking highly qualified candidates for the position of Elementary Teacher with passion for art or arts integration experience.
Minimum Qualifications Required:
Valid Idaho school educator license Possesses the ability to pass a pre-employment criminal history background check and fingerprinting
Additional Desired Qualifications:
Experience in the classroom Understands and implements, with documented evidence, the Idaho Academic Content Standards Experience working with English language learners Experience with significant positive outcomes as a leader in the classroom Strongly committed to improving academic outcomes for all students Demonstrates proficiency in communication, both oral and written, among parents, students, colleagues, and other stakeholders Demonstrates proficiency in technology Demonstrates high-quality, positive classroom management Inspires trust and models high standards of integrity Is a "team player" who inspires others by example
