This role is essential in providing leadership, support, and guidance to all 5th-grade teachers across the district. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of effective instructional strategies and best practices to ensure that all students receive a high-quality education. The District 5th-grade Lead Teacher will collaborate with district administrators and teachers to create a supportive learning environment that fosters student success. Responsibilities
  • Provide instructional leadership and support to 5th-grade teachers throughout the district.
  • Collaborate with district administrators to develop and implement programs and services.
  • Facilitate professional development workshops and training sessions for staff to enhance instructional strategies and teaching methodologies.
  • Participate in district-wide committees and initiatives to advocate for the needs of students. Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Education.
  • Valid teaching certification in Elementary Education.
  • Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience at the elementary level.
  • Proven leadership experience in an educational setting.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of stakeholders, including educators and administrators.
