SUMMARY:
Teaches students academic and social skills following guidelines set by State of Illinois law and board policy. The successful applicant will implement an approved curriculum while utilizing various instructional strategies in a stimulating and engaging learning experience for our students. Collect and analyze data to then be used to make instructional decisions. Implement effective classroom management strategies in accordance with district policies. Collaborate with various staff members to ensure student needs are being met. Effectively communicate with parents on a regular basis. Create and contribute to a positive learning environment for our students.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree; one to two years related experience and/or training preferred. Valid Illinois Professional Educators License with appropriate Elementary Education Endorsement required. ESL or LBS1 Endorsement preferred. Must have ability to communicate successfully with parents, co-workers, and administration. Suitable applicant will be able to collaborate with staff and colleagues to develop new and improve practices.
