An Elementary School Teacher teaches elementary school students, usually children ages 5 - 11 who are in kindergarten through fifth or sixth grade, in a public or private school. Teaches all subjects, including reading, writing, math, social studies and science, to one class throughout the school year. Plans curriculum and assesses student progress, manages student behavior and communicates with school parents. May specialize in teaching music, art or physical education, or teach students that are learning English, or work with students with learning disabilities or emotional and behavioral disorders.

The ideal candidate will:
Possess a teaching certificate and / or degree in early childhood education Have experience in planning lessons, implementing curriculum, communicating with parents, and managing a classroom Have experience in classroom management in early childhood settings Be passionate about early childhood education Genuinely enjoy working with young children and their families Our program is designed to offer children meaningful, developmentally appropriate learning experiences. We are a play-based, hands-on program. Vision We strive to create a committed and nurturing community that empowers every child to impact the world for good.
