May specialize in teaching music, art or physical education, or teach students that are learning English, or work with students with learning disabilities or emotional and behavioral disorders.

You'll work with an enthusiastic caseload of 2nd graders, helping them develop foundational skills and a lifelong love for learning. Candidates must hold a valid IL PEL License with an elementary education endorsement. Qualifications:

Current Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with elementary education endorsement Classroom experience teaching elementary grade levels, especially 2nd grade Strong classroom management and communication skills Ability to adapt lessons to accommodate diverse learning needs Passion for fostering academic growth and curiosity in young students Commitment to professional development and collaboration
