Job Description

Being responsible for creating a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that fosters the intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development of students. The teacher will plan, deliver, and assess instruction aligned with state standards, using data to inform differentiated instruction and support student growth. Duties include (but not limited to): Develop and implement daily lesson plans aligned with state standards in English Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies. Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of students. Differentiate instruction based on assessment data and student needs. Utilize formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and guide instruction. Collaborate with grade-level and support staff to develop and implement instructional strategies and interventions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (required) Valid state teaching certification in Elementary Education (required) Prior teaching experience (preferred) Strong knowledge of child development, curriculum design, and instructional best practices Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Proficient in the use of educational technology and digital tools Positive behavior support. Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about student progress and classroom activities. Participate in professional development, team meetings, and school-wide initiatives. Maintain accurate records, including grades, attendance, and behavioral data. Integrate technology effectively to enhance instruction and student learning.
