Sep 1, 2026 Job Description Saint Agnes School, in collaboration with Arlington Catholic High School, is part of the Catholic School of Saint Agnes Parish (www.achssas.org). We serve students from infancy through Grade 8 at our campus, who then continue on at ACHS for Grades 9-12. We are committed to small class sizes, character and faith formation, and supporting in the individual academic growth of each student. We are in search of teachers to fill potential openings in Grades 2-5 for the 2023-2024 school year. The chief responsibilities of this position include:
  • Plan, teach, and assess students in all key academic areas (literacy, math, science, social studies, social/emotional learning, religion)
  • Use
NWEA MAP
testing data to plan instruction that supports the academic growth of each student
  • Use the RenWeb online database for attendance, grading, and communication
  • Create a safe and joyful learning environment
  • Communicate effectively and often with parents regarding their child's progress
  • Interact and communicate with children in a calm, kind, and nurturing manner
  • Understand and support the unique strengths of each child
  • Support the faith formation of students and participate/accompany them in faith formation experiences (Mass, Adoration, etc.)
  • Collaborate with colleagues, guidance counselor, special education teacher, and specialists for planning and to support students Please indicate in your cover letter your preferred grade(s).
