An Elementary School Teacher teaches elementary school students, usually children ages 5 - 11 who are in kindergarten through fifth or sixth grade, in a public or private school. Teaches all subjects, including reading, writing, math, social studies and science, to one class throughout the school year. Plans curriculum and assesses student progress, manages student behavior and communicates with school parents. May specialize in teaching music, art or physical education, or teach students that are learning English, or work with students with learning disabilities or emotional and behavioral disorders.

Pay:
Up to $25/hour , based on experience, credential level, and merit

What You'll Do Support a Toddler and/or Preschool classroom using Montessori-aligned practices Create a warm, predictable, and engaging environment Follow children's passions and developmental needs Collaborate with a co-teacher and admin team Communicate warmly with families Support outdoor learning and community outings What We're Looking For 1 year Minimum Experience working with kids 15 months- 3 years old Montessori and/or Reggio experience preferred (not required) Massachusetts EEC teaching credential (please include level) Calm, nurturing, and joyful teaching style Strong communication and teamwork skills
