Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Mission Grammar School is an urban, college-preparatory, Catholic school established and staffed by the School Sisters of Notre Dame in 1889 in Roxbury, Massachusetts. Opportunity:

Mission Grammar School is seeking a dedicated, dynamic, and diverse Upper School 4th Grade Teacher to join its team and community for the 2026-2027 school year. The 4th Grade Teacher will be responsible for teaching English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Religion, ensuring a rigorous, engaging, and faith-centered learning experience for scholars. Responsibilities:

Create and foster a positive, safe, faith-filled, and inclusive learning environment Teach and plan instruction in ELA, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Religion aligned with school curriculum and standards Ensure scholars are supported, valued, and challenged every day Use high-quality curricular resources to design and implement lesson plans, unit plans, and assessments Differentiate instruction and leverage necessary resources to ensure all scholars meet growth and achievement goals Regularly analyze student work and academic data to inform instruction and refine curriculum Maintain accurate student grades and records and communicate consistently with students and families regarding progress and growth Supervise and collaborate with Teaching Assistants, providing guidance and support to ensure effective classroom instruction and scholar support Support and actively engage in collaborative planning with grade-level colleagues, specialists, support staff, and school leadership Participate in school-wide and individual professional development, coaching sessions, and feedback cycles Perform necessary support duties, including but not limited to coverage, lunch, recess, and dismissal duties Maintain dependable attendance according to the school calendar for academic days and community events

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
