Elementary School General Studies Teacher

Job Overview We want you to be part of our team! Maimonides School, an Orthodox Jewish Day School in Brookline, MA seeks an energetic and experienced individual who is well versed in K-5 instructional methodology, who is warm, creative, professional, and energetic, and who works well with children and adults. Responsibilities include planning and implementing engaging lessons that focus on important mastery objectives, working collaboratively with co-teachers, communicating with parents, and supervising recess and lunch. Knowledge of Jewish content is beneficial, but not a requirement.

Responsibilities :

Foster a nurturing classroom atmosphere that promotes positive behavior management and social-emotional growth Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with special education requirements Use learning technology effectively to enhance instructional delivery and student engagement Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, classroom management techniques, and school-wide initiatives Maintain clear communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and behavioral concerns

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of elementary or middle school general studies teaching experience. Bachelor's degree in Education or related field. Master's degree preferred.
