COMPENSATION
Per the Collective Bargaining Agreement located on the DY website. All internal applicants who are interested in this position should apply within ten days of this posting. All applicants must be fingerprinted prior to hiring. Additional information regarding fingerprinting including scheduling an appointment may be found on our website. A CORI application must be completed with our Central Office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Be a positive role model and exhibit good behavior, management skills, and respectful interactions with staff and students. Teacher of record will work with other staff members to manage a second-grade classroom. Data collection, progress monitoring, report writing, parent engagement, work as grade level "team member" and other program responsibilities. Must keep students safe and secure at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS
MA DESE license in Elementary Education. Master degree preferred. Experience working with children is preferred. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Must be dependable, organized and communicate well with staff, students and parents. Must be flexible and participate as part of the team. Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
