Job Description

Our Lady's Academy, a Catholic school that services students from pre-school thru grade 8, is seeking a creative, caring, full-time Prekindergarten Teacher for the 2026-2027 academic year. Certification in Early Childhood Education and experience working with young children is required. This teacher is also supported by two full-time, experienced paraprofessionals.

Job responsibilities include, but not limited to:
  • Develop written lesson plans to teach scheduled learning activities;
  • Ability to implement a challenging, age-appropriate curriculum;
  • Encourage creative thinking;
  • Vary instructional techniques to address individual learning styles;
  • Collaborate with other teachers to share knowledge and resources that enhance student learning;
  • Work closely with classroom aids;
  • Participate in conferences, staff meetings, and professional development;
  • Communicate with parents regarding each child's progress;
  • Provide instruction through play and hands on activities that address the core subjects of reading, writing and math.

A Bachelor's degree and MA Certification required.
