Elementary Classroom Teacher•Grade 4 (2026-2027 SY)

Position Summary:
The Classroom Teacher for Grade 4 is responsible for providing high-quality instruction and maintaining a positive, structured classroom environment. The Classroom Teacher will implement established lesson plans, follow district curriculum, and support the academic, social, and emotional development of all students.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Implement daily lesson plans aligned with district curriculum and Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks. Deliver instruction in core academic areas, including literacy and mathematics. Establish and maintain a safe, respectful, and well-managed classroom environment. Use effective classroom management strategies consistent with school expectations. Assess student learning through assignments, observations, and formative assessments. Provide feedback to students to support academic growth. Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners, including students with IEPs, 504 plans, and English Learners, in collaboration with support staff. Communicate professionally with families, colleagues, and administrators as needed. Maintain accurate records, including attendance and student work. Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school activities as appropriate. Collaborate with grade-level colleagues and specialists to support student learning.
Qualifications:
Massachusetts DESE licensure preferred (Elementary Education Grades 1-6). Bachelor's degree required. Experience teaching at the elementary level preferred. Strong classroom management and organizational skills. Ability to follow established plans while adapting instruction as needed. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment:
Elementary school classroom setting. Requires standing, walking, and engaging actively with students throughout the school day.

2026-2027
