Grades 4/5 James Faulkner Elementary School (JFES), a small rural school in Stoddard, New Hampshire, is seeking an upper elementary classroom teacher. The anticipated assignment is a multi-grade 4/5 classroom. We are looking for a creative, student-centered educator who believes in building strong relationships, designing meaningful learning experiences, and helping students grow academically, socially, and personally. Our school community values collaboration, flexibility, outdoor learning, and a hands-on approach to education. At JFES, we strive to foster self-motivated, lifelong learners who are responsible, respectful, and active members of their community. The ideal candidate will embrace that mission by creating a classroom environment where students feel safe, known, challenged, and supported. In collaboration with the teaching team and school administration, the classroom teacher will implement district-approved curriculum, use assessment and student data to guide instruction, document student progress, address the needs of individual learners, and maintain clear communication with students, families, and administration regarding progress, expectations, and goals. This position is well-suited for an educator who enjoys working closely with colleagues, values small-school relationships, and is excited to help shape learning in a collaborative and interactive environment. If you are an educator who believes children learn best through strong relationships, curiosity, creativity, and meaningful engagement with the world around them, we would love to hear from you.
Qualifications:
