An Elementary School Teacher teaches elementary school students, usually children ages 5 - 11 who are in kindergarten through fifth or sixth grade, in a public or private school. Teaches all subjects, including reading, writing, math, social studies and science, to one class throughout the school year. Plans curriculum and assesses student progress, manages student behavior and communicates with school parents. May specialize in teaching music, art or physical education, or teach students that are learning English, or work with students with learning disabilities or emotional and behavioral disorders.

Job Description

## Job Summary We are in search of a dedicated Primary Montessori Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion and education in fostering the growth and development of young minds. As a Lead Montessori Teacher, you will play a key role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for students to thrive using the Montessori philosophy and pedagogy. ## Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging hands on lesson plans that promote learning and development
  • Provide individualized instruction to students based on their needs and abilities
  • Create a safe and supportive classroom environment conducive to learning
  • Utilize effective classroom management techniques to ensure a positive learning experience
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the overall educational program
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly to track development and address any challenges ## Requirements
  • Montessori Primary certificate
  • AMI/AMS/MACTE
  • Bachelors degree
  • At least 1 year previous experience working with students in an educational setting
  • Strong understanding of childhood development principles in line with Montessori philosophy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
