August 25, 2026 About the Role We are seeking passionate, dedicated, and collaborative Early Childhood Educator s to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the foundational years of our youngest learners. Essential Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, developmentally appropriate instruction. Utilize effective teaching strategies, resources, enrichment and targeted interventions to support and measure the academic growth of every student. Collect, analyze, and utilize student performance data to monitor progress, drive daily instruction, and differentiate learning. Understand and actively attend to the unique learning styles, strengths, and individual needs of your students. Cultivate and maintain a physically, socially, and emotionally safe classroom culture where all students feel safe, valued and a sense of belonging. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, and build strong, trusting relationships with students, parents, and community stakeholders. Support and implement building- and district-level initiatives, core values, and strategic goals. Actively participate in professional learning communities (PLCs), district professional development, and staff meetings to continuously improve instructional practices. Maintain exemplary standards of professional conduct, serving as a positive role model for students and a supportive teammate to staff. Qualifications & Requirements A valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with an active ZN (Early Childhood) or ZS (Early Childhood Special Education) endorsement required. Strong, demonstrable knowledge of early childhood development, curriculum, and instructional best practices. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with an innate ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues. Proven competency in student management, supervision, and creating positive behavioral interventions. A demonstrated ability to build strong, empathetic interpersonal relationships with students and families from diverse backgrounds. A deep-seated passion and unwavering commitment to improving learning outcomes and educational equity for all students. Ability to frequently bend, stoop, sit on the floor, and lift or carry to 50 lbs.
