Aug 14, 2026 Job Description Cedar Springs Public Schools invites devoted educators to apply for the position of Elementary Art Teacher beginning in the 2026-2027 school year. Valid Michigan Elementary Teaching Certificate LX, LQ or LZ endorsement preferred but not required Displays a high degree of knowledge in teaching pedagogy at the elementary level. Adept in best teaching practices, core ideas, and crosscutting concepts. Applies sound principles of learning and motivation in the planning, delivery and assessment phases of instructional delivery Commitment to the district's school improvement process and curriculum development efforts Experience and knowledge of quality instruction and classroom management Establishes positive relationships with students, parents, and school personnel Ability to communicate well at various levels with students, parents, and school personnel Evidence of a positive attitude and human relation skills Evidence of high standards of ethics, honesty, and integrity in personal and professional matters High level of flexibility
