May specialize in teaching music, art or physical education, or teach students that are learning English, or work with students with learning disabilities or emotional and behavioral disorders.

Job Description

St. Fabian Catholic School in Farmington Hills, MI is accepting applications for a shared time 2nd-8th grade physical education teacher and 6-8 study skills/hall teacher for the 2026/2027 school year. This is a full time position paid through Berkley's shared time program. We are looking for a person who is outstanding, energetic, dedicated, collegial, and talented who will be responsible for physical education instruction and to moderate our middle school study hall class. Candidate must have a bachelor's degree in physical education or similar from an accredited university, a valid State of Michigan teaching certificate, pass a criminal background check with fingerprints and complete Protecting God's Children program. Applicant must be committed to fostering a child's relationship with God while promoting academic excellence in a 21st Century classroom. In addition, candidate must possess strong communication skills, solid classroom management skills, a willingness to work as a part of a team, and the ability to use technology in a classroom setting.
