Primary Teacher Assistant / After Care Montessori Radmoor School Okemos, MI Job Details Part-time From $16 an hour 7 hours ago Benefits Professional development assistance Qualifications Classroom management assistance Childcare Early childhood education High school diploma or GED Working with children Working with students Child supervision Full Job Description Private Montessori School arranged on a beautiful 6.5-acre campus seeks Primary Classroom Assistant and After Care Assistant (3 to 6 yr olds). Montessori Radmoor is an authentic AMI Recognized Montessori school that serves children from 18 months old through eighth grade. The school has approximately 220 students and has been in operation for over 50 years. Come be a part of our community as we empower children to become successful world citizens. This position is for a Primary Classroom Assistant from 12:00 pm - 5:15 p.m., Monday - Friday and will begin August 17, 2026.
Staff Qualifications:
At least 21 years of age High School Diploma or equivalent Dependable and Responsible Able to pass a background check Previous experience in a child-related field required Calm, patient, but firm demeanor
Duties:
Assist classroom teacher in all aspects of the classroom (working with kids, caring for the environment, etcetera) Model appropriate interactions, both social and with the environment Follow safety and emergency procedures and guidelines
Pay:
From $16.00 per hour
