Academic Year Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Education and a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate as required by MDE OR ; Bachelor's Degree and enrollment in a state-approved program leading to teacher certification as required by MDE.
Preferred:
Previous classroom teaching experience in a comparable district.

Salary/Benefits:
Commensurate with credentials and level of experience and in accordance with MPS salary schedule. Starting range $51,814.00-$75,437.00. Medical, dental, vision, life, and long-term disability insurance coverage offered. Eligible for Michigan ORS retirement plan for public school employees. Paid time off includes ten (10) sick leave days, three (3) personal days, and two (2) professional improvement days.
