Position Details Job Description:
Full-time upper elementary teacher in a K-6 Elementary building. This teacher will be responsible for collaborating with peer teachers, teaching the Michigan Common Core Curriculum Standards, and administering interventions.
Qualifications:
Valid Michigan Elementary Teaching Certificate preferred
Performance Requirements:
Possess a strong belief that all students can and will be successful Ability to plan and deliver effective, engaging, and rigorous lessons Ability to use data to plan and adjust instruction Willing to differentiate instruction Ability to work with parents and colleagues to improve student outcomes Ability to interact positively and motivate students Demonstrate exceptional classroom management to achieve a productive learning environment Exhibit strength in working collaboratively with teachers, staff, and administration Excellent computer and presentation skills Possess the ability to scaffold instruction to meet all student needs Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Terms of Employment:
Full-time position beginning August 2026 $41,311 to $76,422 annual salary, depending on education and experience Daily hours will be 7:40 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
