Job Summary Immaculate Conception Catholic School in Dardenne Prairie is seeking dedicated, faith‑filled K-4 Elementary Teachers to join our vibrant school community. The ideal candidates will provide high‑quality instruction in a nurturing, structured, and faith‑centered environment that supports the academic, social‑emotional, and spiritual growth of young learners. Teachers at IC are committed to modeling Catholic values, collaborating with colleagues, and fostering a positive classroom culture rooted in respect, responsibility, and love of learning. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction aligned with curriculum standards for kindergarten through 4th grade. Integrate Catholic teachings, prayer, and Gospel values throughout the school day. Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and ensure individual student success. Use formative and summative assessments to monitor progress and inform instruction. Establish consistent routines and maintain a well‑managed classroom environment conducive to learning. Support the social‑emotional development of students by modeling and teaching positive behaviors, problem‑solving skills, and cooperation. Communicate regularly and professionally with parents regarding student progress and classroom happenings. Collaborate with grade‑level teammates, specialists, and administration to support student learning and school initiatives. Participate in school liturgies, professional development, staff meetings, and community events. Uphold the mission, philosophy, and values of Immaculate Conception Catholic School and the Catholic Church. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or a related field (required). Valid Missouri teaching certification for elementary grades (preferred or willingness to obtain). Experience working with elementary‑age children in a school setting (preferred). Strong instructional, classroom‑management, and communication skills. Commitment to fostering a faith‑filled learning environment. Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and build strong relationships with students and families. Enthusiasm for teaching, learning, and ongoing professional growth. Additional Details Full‑time, school‑year position. Compensation and benefits follow school and Archdiocesan guidelines.
