Job Description
Job Responsibilities Develop and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with school curriculum and Catholic educational standards Foster a positive, faith‑centered classroom culture that encourages curiosity, kindness, and a love of learning Integrate Catholic values, prayer, and faith experiences into daily instruction and classroom life Assess student progress using a variety of tools and provide timely, constructive feedback to students and families Communicate regularly and professionally with parents/guardians to support student growth and strengthen the school‑home partnership Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and administration to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs, abilities, and learning styles of young students Maintain accurate records, lesson plans, and documentation in accordance with school and Archdiocesan guidelines Participate in school events, professional development, and faith‑formation opportunities as part of the school community Uphold and model the mission, values, and expectations of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Troy Job Requirements Practicing Catholic required. Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education required. Valid teaching certification preferred. Religious Education Certification preferred or willingness to pursue certification. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students of varied backgrounds, cultures, and learning needs. Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
