The ideal candidate is a creative, student-centered educator who is committed to helping students grow academically while fostering curiosity, confidence, and a love for learning. This teacher will create an engaging classroom environment that emphasizes hands-on learning, differentiated instruction, and collaboration, while teaching from a biblical worldview and modeling a Christ-centered life.

Responsibilities:

Teach core elementary subjects using engaging and effective instructional strategies grounded in a biblical perspective Integrate faith and learning, helping students understand academic content through a Christian worldview Implement differentiated instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students Create hands-on, student-centered learning experiences that deepen understanding across content areas Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, problem solving, critical thinking, and Christ-like character Collaborate regularly with a team of elementary teachers to support student success and align curriculum Communicate clearly and consistently with parents and families, partnering together to support student growth Use creativity and innovation to make learning meaningful and accessible for all learners Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents • Participate in school activities, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field Ability to obtain ACSI Certification Experience teaching elementary students preferred Strong classroom management and organizational skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills A personal commitment to the mission and values of BCS and a growing in your faith

Pay:

$38,625.39 - $43,742.41 per year
