Duties Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards across subjects such as literacy education, math, and social studies. Utilize learning technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance student engagement and understanding. Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive behavior management strategies to create a safe and respectful learning environment. Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing preparation. Support diverse learners by adapting instructional strategies for students with special education needs or autism spectrum disorder. Mentor and collaborate with colleagues to share best practices in curriculum development, early intervention, and education administration. Incorporate library services and resources to promote literacy skills and foster a love of reading among students. Engage in parent communication to discuss student progress, behavioral concerns, and educational goals. Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends like Montessori or private school standards. Qualifications Proven classroom experience working with children across early childhood education levels. Strong understanding of childhood development principles and age-appropriate teaching techniques. Excellent communication skills for working with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators. Demonstrated ability in lesson planning, curriculum development, and assessment strategies. Experience with classroom management tools and learning technology platforms. Knowledge of special education practices, behavior management techniques, and working with individuals with autism is highly desirable. Prior experience in private or Montessori school settings is a plus. Writing skills necessary for creating detailed lesson plans, reports, and instructional materials.
