Position Summary The 2nd Grade Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering high-quality instruction aligned with the North Carolina Standard Course of Study (NCSCOS) while supporting the academic, social, and emotional growth of all scholars. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction for 2nd grade scholars. Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners. Use formative and summative assessment data to guide instruction and monitor scholar progress. Maintain a safe, structured, and positive classroom environment. Communicate regularly with families regarding scholar progress and classroom expectations. Collaborate with grade-level teams, intervention staff, and school leadership. Required Qualifications Valid North Carolina Professional Educator License in Elementary Education. Eligibility to teach 2nd Grade in North Carolina.
