Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS
NH elementary teacher certification (K-6 or K-8) or proof of eligibility for NH certification Bachelor's degree or higher Classroom experience preferred but not required
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
In accordance with the Bartlett Education Association (BEA) contract
JOB SUMMARY
Provide for the social, emotional, and intellectual growth needs of students so they reach their full potential.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan and deliver instruction based upon District curriculum and student need. Create an environment of respect and rapport that establishes a culture of learning. Manage classroom procedures and student behavior in a manner consistent with child development. Communicate with students and their families about class activities and learning progress Assess and monitor student progress on learning standards to inform instruction. Collaborate with educators on the team, at JBES, and throughout SAU9 to enhance and share best practices. Reflect on teaching practices and participate in ongoing professional development for growth. Implement 504 and IEP accommodations and modifications and meet the learning needs of all students. Follow District policies and procedures and maintain accurate records. Complete other duties as assigned by the principal.
EVALUATION
Performance will be evaluated by the principal or designee in accordance with District evaluation procedures.
